ADVENTURE SPORTS IN ICA

The department of Ica presents a relatively rugged territory, extensive pampas, desert plateaus, some valleys, and a coastline of incredible beauty. The Nazca Lines were created by ancient cultures for the gods, however Ica was created by the gods, who spread wonderful places for adventure sports in its geography.

The Paracas National Reserve is a must, and what better way to do it than to do it by bicycle along the routes that lead to its beaches and impressive rock formations where sea lions, otters, and penguins take refuge. Its coast offers cliffs, rocks and beaches where sport fishing is king. You can also surf in some championship waves. Another widely practiced sport is Paragliding, which takes advantage of the very good winds on the coasts. If you want to feel more adrenaline, you can join the group of athletes who practice Kite Surfing.

Located 5 km or 10 minutes by car, there is an oasis in the middle of the desert surrounded by beautiful dunes, the Huacachina Lagoon, also known as the Oasis of America. The visitor can camp, practice sandboarding or sandboarding, rent a sandbox car and feel more adrenaline than a roller coaster going down its dunes, or go trekking along the trails of the Cañon de los Perdidos. In summary, the Ica region offers a large number of adventure sports for all kinds of preferences, and in fact the best Ceviche dish accompanied by a good wine.
