I just completed the Ayahuasca retreat, and I can't even begin to express what a life-changing experience it has been. Everyone will have a different experience, and much of mine will remain personal, but I'd like to briefly summarize the Ayahuasca ceremonies, as I believe everyone should experience this once in their life. I surrendered to the medicine, and it completely healed the problems I was having. I trembled and cried for hours until the tears dried, due to the unconditional love flowing through me. I probably had over 100 different beings, such as fire-breathing dragons, harsh demigod rulers like the Anunnaki, creatures from Greek mythology, angels of mercy, and so on. I had so much fun lifting mountains, sucking in entire planets and exhaling them into entire galaxies. I learned to open portals with a swinging rope, traversing the multiverse, I was singing. Mon ami et moi avons pris l'excursion privée dans la jungle de Manu. Nous avons choisi Andean Great Treks pour son expérience locale et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Jacker, notre guide, était très compétent et soucieux de nous faire vivre une expérience positive. Nous avons vu une multitude d'animaux magnifiques, et il a été excellent pour installer les jumelles et prendre des photos et des vidéos au télescope ; il était clair qu'il était un guide expérimenté. Notre cuisinier était fabuleux et a préparé de nombreuses options pour la plupart des repas. Il a travaillé d'arrache-pied tout au long du voyage : il a coupé des légumes sur la route et sur le bateau, et a tout préparé avec soin et minutie. C'était copieux, savoureux et agréable. We recently got back from a 3 day into Manu with Andean Great Treks, and honestly, we’re still processing how special it all was. We had been looking for a tour that fit our dates but were having a hard time finding one. Elmer at Andean Great Treks was so kind and responsive, he made it work by organizing a private tour for us, without making it out of reach. That gesture alone told us we had chosen the right company. We were incredibly lucky with the wildlife. We saw several species of monkeys, toucans, capybaras! Our guide, Jacker, and the whole boat crew had the sharpest eyes. They were constantly scanning the forest, pointing things out, explaining what we were seeing, and doing it all with such joy and patience. The food on the trip was unbelievable.
