Experience classic Peru touring South America’s ancient Inca sites, Visit the highlights of southern Peru, including Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca.

Visit South America and travel to Peru on an adventure from mountains to jungle, and seasides to great plains. Visit Peru’s incredible natural and historical highlights on this awesome adventure. Travel onwards into the fertile Sacred Valley of the Incas and travel by rail alongside a tempestuous river through a narrow gorge leading to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, set on a sub tropical mountain saddle above the Urubamba Valley.

Drive on to the icy, sapphire waters of high-altitude Lake Titicaca and spend a night on the timelessly peaceful and traditional Amantani Island.

    The night is spent in very simple accommodations that have been prepared for tourists by various parishioners. The availability of running water and electricity is limited. You can immerse yourself in the friendly village life on Lake Titicaca. The community is there with a lot of heart and joy and benefits 100% of all income.

Welcome to Lima, Peru’s capital and one of South America’s most beautiful cities. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 2 pm, where you’ll meet your fellow travellers and tour leader. Please look for a note in the hotel lobby or ask reception where it will take place. After the meeting, stroll the streets of downtown Lima and check out some of its main attractions on a leader-led walking tour. Enjoy free time before an optional group dinner this evening. The unofficial food capital of South America, there’s no better place to sample Peru’s national dish, ceviche, than at one of Lima’s excellent restaurants. As there’s little time spent in Lima, you may like to arrive a few days early to see the sights, including the chic suburb of Miraflores, Central Park, Lovers’ Park and the National Museum.

Catch an early flight to Cusco. Spend a little time acclimatising to the high altitude (3450 metres/11,320 feet) and then get acquainted with this charming town on a walking tour with your leader. Check out Cusco’s vibrant main square (Plaza de Armas). Witness the flurry of activity that characterises San Pedro market. Stroll past the slew of quaint restaurants and artisans found in San Blas Square. See Qoricancha (an Inca Sun Temple) and the famous 12 Angle Stone, then end your tour at the chocolate museum, where you’ll get a chance to sample hot chocolate made from local cacao beans. This might be a good opportunity to purchase some gifts or souvenirs. There’s a small store where you’ll find various handicrafts and a variety of artisanal chocolate products.

In the morning we gonna pick up you at 7:00 , from your hotel, then we will go by bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where the Inca once built important cities such as Chincheros and Ollantaytambo. This spectacular cities amidst the breathtaking Andean landscape were designed in harmony with nature and are a dream for anyone who likes to visit archaeological sites and ruins. For the tour, we will use the tourist ticket “Boleto Turistico Parcial” . This lush valley was known as Wilcamayo to the Incas and has long been the main source of food for the high Andes. Maize crops can be seen surrounding the river and covering the terraces carved high into the valley walls. Our first place to visit is Chincheros where you can see the andean terraces, temples, also you can enjoy  the typical market of Chincheros, then we will visist Moray, and Salineras at midday we go to Urubamba city where is the lunch stop, then we will go to the inca city of Ollantaytambo, where our tour guide will show you the most important places of this inca remain, In the afternoon we have to take the train towards Aguas Calientes, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu, a beautiful 2 hours train ride with unforgettable views. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Early in the morning (around 5:30 am),you have to take the bus to Machupicchu,  one of the new 7 wonders of the world, to explore this fascinating Inca site.

When you arrive to the gate, there you will meet with your tour guide, he  will show you all the most important places for 2 hours. The mystical serenity that emanates from these towering walls and the mystery of the stones fit perfectly, inspires a deep respect for the builders of this monumental work, which have managed to combine their art with the whims of a wild nature. From this year in ahead is working the new regulation to visit Machupicchu, so we are doing in the first Schedule it begings from 6 am until 12:00 pm. And this ticket is valid only for one use. After spending unforgettable moments in Machu Picchu, you  will return to Aguas Calientes to take our tourist train back towards Ollantaytambo, then  by bus to Cusco.

Visiting Machu Picchu:

According to Machu Picchu visiting regulations, all visitors must follow a pre-determined route within the site. This route must be followed in one direction only and once the guided visit commences exiting and re-entering the site is not permitted. Once the guided visit concludes, visitors must exit the site and personal exploration of Machu Picchu is not permitted.

Special Information:

Sunrise at Machu Picchu: The first bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu departs at 5.30 am. The estimated arrival time is between 6-6.30 am The sun rises at Machu Picchu at approximately 5.30 am, therefore it’s not possible to be there in time for sunrise.

We pick you up at your hotel at 6.00 am to take you to the bus station ( Inca Express or First Class ). Both companies provide royal class service with an english speaking tour guide and a waiter who is ready to assist you with hot and cold drinks on board. The tour goes towards the spectacular Andean Mountain of Altiplano to Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca (approximately 7 hours). During the trip you will stop to visit some Inca ruins, museums and the Andahuaylillas church which is considered to be the Sixtine Chapel of South America because of its amazing frescos. Then we stop at the Raqchi Inca ruins which used to be a religious  and resting place for Inca travellers. The next visit is at La Raya, the border between Cusco and Puno, where the most traditional animals of Peru can be seen, llamas and alpacas. In Pucara we will visit a museum where it is possible to see some pre-inca remains. Mingle with the locals in this melting pot of Aymara and Quechuan cultures and see how traditional Andean customs are still strongly represented here. If you’re lucky your visit might coincide with one of the colourful evening parades, which see the streets fill with costumed dancers and musicians.

Finally by 5.30 pm we arrive in Puno city where our representative will pick you up to take you to your hotel.

After having breakfast in your hotel, the tour leader will pick you up to take you to the port of Puno. Take a tour of the lake by slow motor boat, stopping off to visit the Uros floating islands. Using the versatile totora reeds found in the shallows of the lake, the Uros originally built their islands to isolate themselves from rival tribes. Then we will have a 3 hour boat ride to get to the Amantani island. At 2.30pm we arrive at our destination where our guide will introduce us to the local families who are going to share their homes with us. To get a closer look at daily life in the Lake Titicaca region, you’ll be welcomed into the home of a local community and stay the night. Make the most of your visit by helping your host family with their daily activities, communicating to them in Quechua or perhaps trying your luck with them at soccer. After lunch we will hike for one hour up to the mountain called Pachatata ( Father god) which is located at 4400m above sea level. There, you will enjoy an amazing view of the sunset over the lake and a chance to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Afterwards we will come back to your local home for dinner and then you will have the opportunity to dress in traditional clothes provided by the locals and go to the local school where a party with them will take place.
